- Our goal is zero harm. By following the policies and procedures in this induction you will be helping to keep yourself and others safe and will be assisting us to achieve our goal.
Safety Checklist
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ THE FULL INDUCTION HANDBOOK BELOW
Site Access Rules - Auckland Depot
- Entry via the south gate on Saleyard Road
- Report to the office immediately on arrival
- Speed limit is 10km/h
- Walk in the 'Yellow Safe Zone' for foot traffic whenever possible
- Follow the hoist driver's directions at all times
- Exit via the north gate on Saleyard Road
Health and Safety Requirements
- Hi-visibility clothing mandatory (except 'office only' visitors)
- Safety footwear mandatory (except office only visitors)
- No cell phone use while driving or walking in the yard or workshop (offenders will be banned upon a second warning)
- Transport drivers’ vehicles must be roadworthy at all times and have relevant and up-to-date certifications
- No persons Under 16 in the yard area. No Animals. No Weapons
- No Smoking, vaping, alcohol or drugs on site
Hazards
- Follow all rules and directions
- Multiple hazards in the transport yard and workshop areas
- Hi-visibility vest and safety footwear is mandatory
- Hearing/eye protection required where necessary
In an Emergency
- Stay Calm and attend to the emergency
- Contact management as soon as possible
- Call 111 as required
- Muster areas: Entry Gate or Exit Gate
